Effective May 1, 2010, Hawaii First Inc. will be the New Management Company for Makaha Valley Plantation (MVP) property.

Below is a sample letter sent out by Hawaii First on April 20, 2010 to all MVP Homeowners.

Dear Association of Apartment Owners of Makaha Valley Plantation:

Effective May 1, 2010, Hawaii First Inc. will be your Managing Agent for AOAO Makaha Valley Plantations. Hawaii First Inc. has been in the association management business since 1997. We treat all of our clients with integrity and provide the highest quality service in Hawaii. Using our proprietary intelligent property management system to create economic efficiency, our management team manages their properties as if they were residents. This approach has proven to be very successful in creating full satisfaction for our clients.

Your payment is due on the first day of the month; please allow sufficient time (3-5 business days) to avoid any late fees. Payments received after the 10th of the month will be assessed a late fee of $10.00. Enclosed are the payment coupons for the months of May through August 2010. You will be receiving the remainder of your coupons in August 2010. For accurate and prompt credit to your account, please include the appropriate month's coupon with your check. Please send your payments directly to our lockbox with Mutual of Omaha Bank. Lockbox payments are deposited directly into your Association's account and electronically credited the day payment is received. Please make all checks payable to your Association AOAO Makaha Valley Plantations and include your account number found on your coupons.

In the event you prefer to make your payments through our electronic bill payment service, an "Electronic Bill Payer Service Form" is enclosed. Please complete this form and return it to Hawaii First Inc. Attention: Accounting Department. You must complete this form if you elect the electronic bill payment service. Requests received by the 20th of the month will begin payment the following month. Upon receipt, we will send a test file, or pre-note, to your bank. The test file will appear on your bank statement as $0.00. You will not receive a confirmation letter.

In the event you are enrolled in the bill payer program with a financial institution that pays your maintenance fees, please be sure to notify that financial institution of the change. If you have any questions, please contact your property manager, Keith Brunner at 808792-3046.
