Hurricane season in Hawaii is from June 1st to November 30th

Due to estimated high winds and possible heavy rains it is strongly advised that you secure any items currently on unit lanais

Close any patio umbrellas, secure patio furniture, all other items should be removed from the lanai.

Please watch/listen to your local TV news / radio stations for updated information on current storm situations as well as for current emergency shelter locations.

Please see below for Basic Emergency Supply Kit:

• Water, one gallon of water per person per day for at least 7 days, for drinking and sanitation
• Food, at least a 7 day supply of non-perishable food
• Battery-powered or hand crank radio and a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert, a flashlight and extra batteries
• First aid kit
• No candles are to be used in the units!
• Plastic sheeting and duct tape to shelter-in-place
• Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties for personal sanitation
• Check prescription at least 10 days to 2 week supply
• Can opener for food (if kit contains canned food)
• Have on hand and extra cash supply
• Fill tub with water (can be used for flushing toilet or sanitation)
• Masking tape for windows
• Matches in a waterproof container
• House hold chlorine bleach and medicine dropper – when diluted nine parts water to one part bleach, bleach can be used as a disinfectant. Or in an emergency, you can use it to treat water by using 16 drops of regular household liquid bleach per gallon of water. Do not use scented, color safe or bleaches with added cleaners.
• Do not go outside during a hurricane due to high winds and rain. Please stay inside your unit for your safety
